Clare Shaw BSc (Hons) PGCE
Clare is the founder of Shaw Thing Private Tuition. She has been teaching in the secondary sector for 11 years but has now decided to move to private tuition full time . Consistently rated ‘Outstanding’ Clare is not your ‘textbook’ teacher, she uses out of the box thinking to ensure that difficult concepts are understood in the quickest time. Her specialism is the Sciences (from KS2 to A level) with a particular focus on Chemistry at A Level. Clare also has experience tutoring English and Maths up to KS3 and has experience with KS2 SATS preparation. She has a proven track record of increasing attainment and progress both in the classroom and one to one tuition situations.
